H P Works, Inc. opened for business in January 2000. The company was founded on the age old principle
"If you build it they will come". After too many years in Rockville, Md. as Automotion Inc., Larry Sr., Carol and
Larry Jr. moved to Colonial Beach, Va. to escape hoards of angry motorists. NOOO they were not our customers! Anyone who has
driven in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area knows that the angry hoards I refer to hit the roads at 5 A.M. and don't
get off of the roads until midnight, this is affectionately known as "Rush Hour". Located just five minutes from
Colonial Beach Dragway, thirty minutes from Maryland International Raceway and two hours from the Virginia Motorsports Park
in Dinwiddie, we felt that this was a desirable area for our business. As we are just fifteen minutes from Route 301 we are
easily accessible for customers who are not directionally challenged. Being on the outskirts of a small resort area, and in
an area that is rich in history guarantees that Mom and the kids will have something to do while Dad plays with his toy.
